So, I've been cutting costs all over the place trying to save enough for my trip to Oaxaca and driving my family crazy in the process. But whatever. I'm determined to get there sometime this year.
However, I found that it would probably be cheaper to go on a Round the World trip instead of just visiting Mexico. There's a few countries I'd like to visit, so why not get as many in as I can in one go? I've been looking into it, anyway, because Scotland has really taken my fancy. My Mum's family (or, part) are from Scotland and Ireland and I've always wanted to go. Since Ireland isn't that far from Scotland I thought I might as well go to both. And then my friend who lives in Canada asked me to visit her in Alberta. It could be quite the trip. I also need to fit in Finland but I'm really not sure I can get all of these in but I'd like to try. We'll see, I guess.
It's just been really frustrating to make any plans with my cat being sick and having to go back to the vet hospital. There goes more money. Oh well. But the good news is my cat is actually doing very well, the insulin is working and the vets are happy. The problem is Blizzard doesn't appear to be happy. She doesn't want to eat her food, and without her food, she can't have her injection.
